The maximum ordinary working time is eight hours a day or 48 hours a week under the Constitution and the working-hours law.
Attendance control record
Supreme Decree 004-2006-TR requires recording each worker's start and end times, either manually or electronically.
Voluntary, recorded overtime
Overtime is voluntary and must be recorded so it can be paid or compensated.
Meal break of at least 45 minutes
In continuous shifts, workers are entitled to a meal break of no less than 45 minutes.
