Local payroll availableCurrency: MXNAlobri HCM is cloud-based HR and payroll software in Mexico. It combines time and attendance, digital employee files, local payroll calculation, recruiting, assessments and analytics in one suite, with local rules for IMSS, INFONAVIT and SAT, so HR, finance and operations share the same data.
Running HR in Mexico means working with IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT and the Federal Labor Law, which began a phased move to a 40-hour workweek in 2026. Alobri keeps clock-ins, absences, employee files and payroll calculations on the same data set. Local payroll is available in Mexico starting with the HCM Operations plan.
HR and payroll software in Mexico: key agencies and obligations
IMSS: registrations and social security contributions
The Mexican Social Security Institute receives employee registrations, terminations and salary changes. Employers calculate and pay employer and employee contributions periodically.
INFONAVIT: housing contributions
Employers pay housing contributions and also withhold and remit loan repayments for employees with an active INFONAVIT mortgage.
SAT: payroll CFDI and wage income tax
Every wage payment must be supported by a stamped payroll CFDI. Employers withhold ISR from wages and remit it to SAT.
STPS and NOM-035
The Ministry of Labor (STPS) oversees the Federal Labor Law and issued NOM-035, which requires employers to identify and prevent psychosocial risk factors.
The 2026 working-hours reform
A decree published in the Official Gazette on May 1, 2026 gradually lowers the maximum workweek from 48 to 40 hours, reaching 40 in 2030.
