Alobri NOM-035NOM-035-STPS-2018What is NOM-035 and who does it apply to?
NOM-035-STPS-2018 is a Mexican official standard, published by Mexico's Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) in 2018, that sets out how employers must identify, analyze, and prevent psychosocial risk factors at work and promote a favorable organizational environment. It applies to every workplace in Mexico, with requirements that vary by headcount.
If your company has operations in Mexico, Alobri handles the operational side: it assigns the right reference guide to each worksite, sends questionnaires to employees, tracks responses, and produces reports by site, area, and domain. Run it yourself on the platform or choose the managed service with professional review, an executive session, and an initial action plan.

What does NOM-035 software solve for HR?
The right guide for each worksite
The platform assigns the reference guide based on each worksite's headcount, not the whole company's. A large plant and small branches each get the questionnaire that applies to them.
Visible progress without chasing responses
See in real time how many people have responded by site, area, and shift. Send reminders and close the campaign with complete data.
Reports ready for your action plan
Results are grouped by category and domain so you can see where to focus prevention measures. Reports and campaign evidence stay available for 12 months.
Confidentiality for respondents
Employees answer on their phone or computer, and results are presented in aggregate. Only authorized users can view individual information when follow-up is needed.
Self-service or expert support
If your HR team has experience, run the campaign yourself. If you want help, the managed option adds professional review of results, an executive session, and an initial plan.

How does NOM-035 fit different operations?
Multi-shift plants
In manufacturing, staff rotate across shifts and often lack a desk computer. Employees answer on their phones or a shared device, and HR tracks progress by shift so no one is left out.
Chains with many small locations
In retail or pharmacies, many branches have fewer than 16 people while others exceed 50. The platform applies what each site requires based on its size, with no manual setup per branch.
Foreign companies with Mexican subsidiaries
If your headquarters is in the United States, Canada, or Brazil, local HR in Mexico runs the campaign in Spanish while corporate teams review results in English or Portuguese.

See →How does Alobri help you meet NOM-035 requirements?
NOM-035 requires each worksite, among other things, to have a psychosocial risk prevention policy, identify workers exposed to severe traumatic events, assess psychosocial risk factors where headcount requires it, and share information with workers. Alobri gives you the tools to run the questionnaires, record evidence, and follow up on actions.
The platform does not replace the employer's obligations and does not include medical services or certifications. Defining and carrying out prevention measures remains the company's responsibility; if you need support, the managed option adds professional review of results.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a NOM-035 campaign cost with Alobri?
The platform option costs USD 2.50 per person with a USD 99 minimum and includes one campaign with delivery, tracking, reports, and 12 months of access. The managed service costs USD 8 per person with a USD 399 minimum and adds professional review, an executive session, and an initial plan. Both are billed per campaign, plus applicable taxes.
Which NOM-035 guide applies to each site?
It depends on each worksite's headcount, not the company total. Guide I applies to every site. Guide II is used at sites with 16 to 50 workers and Guide III at sites with more than 50. Sites with 15 or fewer workers do not apply the psychosocial risk factor questionnaire.
Does NOM-035 apply outside Mexico?
No. NOM-035 is a Mexican standard and applies to workplaces located in Mexico. If your company operates in several countries, you can run the campaign only for your Mexican sites and use Alobri's climate surveys and health and safety tools for teams elsewhere.
Are employee responses confidential?
Yes. Results are shown in aggregate by site, area, and domain. Access to individual information is limited to authorized users and used only for necessary follow-up. We recommend telling employees how their answers are protected before launch to improve participation.
Do I need the full suite to run NOM-035?
No. You can buy just the NOM-035 campaign, self-service or managed, without a monthly package. If you later add time and attendance, employee records, or payroll, your worksites and employees will already be in Alobri.
Can I see the platform before buying?
Yes. Book a demo via WhatsApp or the website. You will get a Google Meet invite; we will review how many worksites you have in Mexico and which guide applies to each, and show you a sample report so you can choose between platform and managed service.
