Eight hours a day, 44 a week
The Constitution sets normal working time at up to eight hours a day and 44 a week.
Mandatory time records above 20 employees
Establishments with more than 20 workers must record start and end times, manually, mechanically or electronically.
Recorder types under Ordinance 671
The rule provides for REP-C (conventional clock), REP-A (alternative, by collective agreement) and REP-P (software registered with INPI).
Break of at least one hour
For workdays over six hours, the rest and meal break must be at least one hour.
